Editor Positions

2021-2022

Staff Writer

I joined The Pioneer Press at Dearborn High School in 2021. It was my Freshman Year, and I was given the opportunity to become a "Staff Writer" and continue with the position throughout the first semester of my Sophmore year.

2022-2024

Social Media Manager

I was given the title "Soical Media Editor" for the Pioneer Press in 2022, and continued with my title until 2024.

2023-Present

Sports Editor

I was given the second title of "Sports Editor" for the Pioneer Press in 2023 and was able to keep it until spring of 2024, end of my Junior Year.

2024-Present

Editor in Chief

At the end of my Junior Year, in 2024, I was given the title "Editor in Chief," the highest position one can get. I carried it over to my Senior Year, where I will graduate with High Honors in Journalism in 2025.

Experience with MIPA @MSU

I was given the amazing opportunity in 2023 to attend MIPA for the first time at MSU. I was able to take a beginner design class and learn the basics of designing.
in 2024, I was given the opportunity to attend MIPA for the second time at MSU. I was able to attend an advance design class, and was taught by none other than Haley Kluge.
